Jake Wherley is in his first season at Perham Lakeside, coming to us from The Pines at Grandview in Brainerd, MN. Jake is a PGA Associate, working towards full PGA Membership. Jake is an accomplished player himself, competing in a number of MN PGA events during the year. He was the winner of the 2022 MN PGA Assistant's Championship. He has played in the 7 of the last 9 MN State Opens, with his best finish being T-11th. He played Division II golf at the University of Illinois-Springfield. Jake enjoys teaching players of all skill level: from beginners to accomplished players. He views each player individually and tailors each lesson according to the player's needs.
