Jake Wherley is starting his second full season as PGA Head Professional at Perham Lakeside - previously holding the same position at The Pines at Grandview Lodge in Brainerd, MN. Jake is an accomplished player himself, competing in a number of MN PGA events during the year. He was the winner of the 2022 MN PGA Assistant's Championship. He has played in 7 of the last 9 MN State Opens, with his best finish being T-11th. He played Division II golf at the University of Illinois-Springfield. Jake enjoys teaching players of all skill level: from beginners to accomplished players. He views each player individually and tailors each lesson according to the player's needs.
Jake teaches with the technology of the Bushnell Launch Pro launch monitor, using ball and club data to better assess player needs.
